COLOR OF NIGHT (1994): Who wants to see the funny guy from Moonlighting flounce around sans clothes in a swimming pool? Uh, no one. Which explains the anemic box-office receipts for this dreary dud in which Willis, psychiatrist gets involved with -- what else? -- a potentially homicidal hottie (Jane March).

SLIVER (1993): Silly, superfluous whodunit with Sharon Stone cashing in on her post-Basic Instinct sex symbol status as a solitary apartment dweller seduced by an electronic voyeur.

IN THE CUT (2003): Seamy drama about a woman (Meg Ryan) who becomes involved with the cop (Mark Ruffalo) investigating a gruesome murder sees Ryan attempt to bloody and behead her status as America's sweetheart. She succeeded, but -- whoops -- buried her career with it.
